nickd717 (1276), Palo Alto, California, USA Feb 10, 2009 On tap at the Tied House in Mountain View. Didn’t really inspire any "passion" in me. Golden color, white head. Aroma was sweet malts and passion fruit, maybe a little citrus. Tastes like a mediocre American pale ale with subdued hops and with a weird flavor thrown in that I’m guessing is the passion fruit. Not very balanced. Average palate. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Passion Pale Ale

Beer2000 (1775), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 19, 2006 On tap. Quite pale body with a small disappearing head. Not much aroma. Flavor is mild with a little harsh bitterness, maybe a hint of passion as well somewhere. Short aftertaste. Not bad, but a little bit more of everything could not hurt. Crit (2399), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Dec 3, 2002 on tap.Deep gold with lasting head.. Herbal fruity nose. Sweet passionfruit fore and mid taste with creamy malt finish jazz88 (2235), San Francisco, California, USA Oct 29, 2002 Tap. Golden yellow with minimal head. Passion fruit flavor but less noticeable in the aroma. Favorably not an overwhelming fruit flavor, but it is too noticeable to make it a hint and not enough to just enjoy the fruit. A failure by landing in the middle.
