Cachanilla (1), Mexico does not count Feb 25, 2005 This is one of the best Mexican beers I have tasted. Very good quality ingredients. Also try the other two, Guera and Light. They won’t dissapoint you. 184601 (100), Mexicali, Mexico Jun 28, 2008 GREAT BEER,sampled at Mexicali Chevefest beer festival, really dark body loosely carbonated, abundant semi-beige head that last until the last drop, the aroama is unmistakable Vienna,
caramel notes,in flavor some peanuts present and lightly toasted, medium body. will be caught drinking this one again!! GreatLibations (1332), Sasquatcho, Arizona, USA Aug 11, 2006 Pours clear brown w/ an amber hue and almost no froth. Aroma of coffee bean, cooked fruit, and malted leather. Light nectar w/ residual effers. Flavors are dry w/ coffee bean, charcoal, leather, brown sugar, and fruity malt. Finish has a slight bittering. I enjoyed it. Not so rich and easy to drink. Don’t worry about the water =) DaSilky1 (1672), San Diego, California, USA Feb 5, 2004 Updated: Nov 1, 2004This was the most solid Mexican dark beer i have had cept maybe Casta Morena, but this is a strong contender in my opinion. It could just be because i wasnt expecting it to be good..but there was some nice caramelly chocolate nutty flavors up in this...no lager flavors at all..just a solid, flavorful beer from TJ..I hope this makes its way up here..I had to go down into mexico and find it in a random bar.
