Bottle poured into mug- poured transparent brown, minimal carbonation, thin off tan head formed. Aroma of caramel, light toffee, and molasses. Hits the mouth with a medium body, light roasted malts hit the tongue quickly, elements of brown sugar and yeast, finish is refreshing. Solid sessioner.

Crystal clear brown body with a small creamy light tan head. Sweet malty aroma with sweet molassas and light nuttiness. Sweet molassas and dry caramel flavor, some more light nuttiness. Medium body with moderate carbonation and a smooth slightly syrupy finish.

Bottle pours a deep dark amber color with a foamy tan head that quickly fades. Very sweet aroma with pronounced toffee notes. Similar sweet flavor as well that also includes roasted malts.

Sweet brown sugar, toffee aromas. Clear dark brown with giant tan head that recedes quickly. Simple sweet flavors - light caramel, gentle chocolate and roasted malts, light balancing bitterness in the finish. Medium-light body. Overall, a little too sweet for my taste.

Nice creamy head at pour. Dissolves into nice lacey brussels of tiny bubbles. Red brown color, very nice in fluted pilsner glass. Smells of apples and carmel as you lift the glass. A taste of pear and carmel that ends in a ever so slight bitter taste and dry mouthfeel. Second sip gives the same with slight chocolate notes and less bitterness. A very well rounded beer. I wish I had more then one bottle!

Very good brew; it more than makes up in taste for what it lacks in complexity; thin-to-medium body; hints of caramel; very nice roasted malts; pours clear dark brown with a ruddy tinge; off-white head; strongly recommended.
