Coloration is slightly foggy brown with a nice off white head. Aroma is slightly smokey, with caramel, along with toffee, and almonds. Taste is a bit watery with light notes of almonds, and caramel, slightly metalic also. Seems like a mass market brown. Newcastle is better, and that’s not a good thing.

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma af malt and toffee. The flavour is sweet and watery.

Pours beautifully, a nice reddish brown hue. Average head with minimal lacing. The most impressive aspect of the beer is the taste. Complex malts and malt sweetness are very notable, but not to an annoying or overwhelming degree. Beautifully balanced.

Bottle - Pours a ruby brown with a small head... Smells of strong sweet toffee and malts... Tastes similar to a newcastle... but slightly sweeter.. overall a pretty decent malty brown ale.. absolutly love the label... simialar to a Salvadore Dali painting.. decent beer...recommended

Had this at the end of the night, so I was feeling good, but this was a very nice finish. An excellent red-brown ale. Sweet yet w/out that sugary disintegrate-your-teeth feeling. Much sweeter than any other brown I’ve had, but I could drink this fairly regularly.

330ml bottle obtained in a trade with <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?U target=blank>piscator34, thanks Kris. Deep ruby in colour, long lasting beige coloured head, some lacing. The aroma has lots of toffee, its quite rich and malty, very sweet. The flavour is rather sweet but not overly so, dark fruits (cherries), caramel malts, some chocolate, very light roast. Thick mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes with a lingering mild sweetness. Pretty sweet but not overpowering, not to bad.

Bottle. Dark brown body with a big tan head. Sweet fruity aroma, light malt, hints of cocoa and malt that carries over to the flavour. Dilute fruity malt is pleasant but feels watered down slightly. Average to thin palate. This was actually quite pleasant but did not rate higher.

Deep ruby borwn, nice head fades slow. Aroma of mild coffee and a touch of ash. Light coffee flavor, almost like a watery Maxwell House. But somewhat better than that. Not much else going on here. So-so.
