Earthy aroma with flowers, dark fruit and cocoa. Flavor has plums, cinnamon, chocolate and hints of cherries. Medium to full-bodied, well-carbonated and silky mouthfeel. Pretty easy to drink. The beer is very thin and lacks complexity. The aftertaste was pleasing though. Holdwine (908), Beertimore, Maryland, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 18, 2005 I liked the way this brown ale started. Average looking in the glass, frothy tan head. Fruits perked up to the nose. Nice fruity/malty mix on the tongue. Then something went wrong leaving a nasty aftertaste that I am still trying to figure out. Some metallic, some off fruit, some unknown. Disappointing finsh to an otherwise nice start. Dalle (1146), Skørping, Denmark

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 15, 2005 Tasty little brown ale. Pours a rich brown with a thick, creamy beige head. Aroma is malty and faintly nutty. Taste is malty with a touch of roasted nuttiness and a slight metallic note. Nice lacing and a nice, slightly dry and fruity finish. Not bad, overall. turbothy (725), Bonn, Germany
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 10, 2005 Pours dark chestnut with small head. Aroma is apricot and malt. Flavour is funnily synthetic cardboard/glue-ish with the same apricot ending. Not bad, though it may sound like it.
