Draught at Alumen Bar, Copenhagen. Good smooth aroma. Beautiful red-brown appearance with full, rich off-white head. Flavor i caramel-like with a touch of malt. Great mouthfeel. Overall a fantastic brown ale.

A red beer with a disappearing beige head. The aroma is sweet and sour, with some roasted notes. The flavor is sweet roasted with notes of berries and a dry end, but it also has some sourness. There is something good, but also something bad about this beer - so the rating winds up in the middle.

Dark brown, very creamy brown head. Lemony, a bit sour nose, some burnt sugars. Sugary, a bit roasted flavor, some sourness underlying there.

Amazing deep brown color. Huge head. Totally cool label. Aroma is malty with some toffee and slightly sour. Flavor is very sweet but with both amlt and hops. Not bad at all.

Nearly black; dark brown dense head, leaving lace. Liquorice, black head, chlidren’s sweets in the nose. Liquorice, but retronasal, it’s less sweet, quite like dark grains, as in the French black beers. Light to medium body, falls a bit flat. Tastes like some children’s strengthening drink.

Almost burgundy in color with a hint of brown. The head is light tan. The aroma is above average, but nothing spectacular. The beer has a slight roasted hint to it with a slight sweetness. Very smooth beer with a lingering palate. Good choice, pick it up if you haven’t tried it.

Bottled. Clear red brown coloured with a lasting off white head. Sweet fruity flavour of spices and yeast. Sweet flavour of dried fruits and yeast with metallic notes. Nothing special. Tastes more like a boring dubbel then a brown ale.

I didn’t have my notepad with me so I won’t comment on this from memory. I’ll have to rerate this.
