Deep amber colour with a short lasting head. Aroma reminds me of a hefewisen; like they are using Weihenstephaner yeast. It had decent body, but an almost sickly sweet finish. pootzboy (1048), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada

Filtered, clear Amber-copper color with a ample Beige cap.
Sweet and sour tones, roasty, floral hops in the aroma with a nice underlying earthy-mustiness.
Sweetish caramel malts in the front, some roastyness, light complexity: spice, figs, cocoa, succulent fruit peels. Finishes up dry with some tartness and a light honey aftertaste. A tad on the thin side but flavorful.
Nice drink,

Smooth and not overwhelming on the palate. A good stand by brown ale that is decently priced and available. Recommended as an upgrade over Newcastle Brown Ale.
