Jan 24, 2009 Bottle from Bottle Barn. Dark amber color with a little beige head. Light aroma suggesting a Vienna. Medium body with significant carbonation. Flavor is slightly grapey, with some roasted caramel. Finish is neither sweet nor dry. It is very pleasant. Interesting.

Jan 20, 2009 330 ml bottle. Amber body with a small beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, light burnt caramel and dry fruit. Flavor is sweet, light roasted malt, caramel, dry fruit and brown sugar. Actually quite more straight forward and this description, but nice anyway.

Jan 17, 2009 From bottle, pours almost burgandy, filtered, and higlhly effervescent. Aroma is carmel malt. Flavor reminds me of Hakim Stout.
Weak bodied, with a finish (or is it Danish?) that is cloying.

Jan 9, 2009 pours dark amber brown with a quickly dissipating head. aroma is nutty and mildly buttery. taste is dark roasted cocoa, coffee and caramelized sugar. very mild and balanced with a very clean finish and very little bitterness. currently my #1 nut brown ale. outstanding.

Jan 3, 2009 Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with a large, disappearing white head. Lacing is above average. Aromas of brown sugar, caramel, and toffee. Thin texture with a flat carbonation. Tastes of caramel and some malts. Average beer at best.

Dec 30, 2008 This is my first true review, so here goes: Poured with a dark reddish brown color, with little head. It has a slightly nutty aroma and taste, very refreshing light body with a moderately bitter aftertaste of hops. As others have stated - it presents itself very well as an exceptional session drinker.
