Over the top raspberry aroma wows you at first. Even though sweet is a taste, I think you can smell that this will be sweet...and it is. Not as sweet as a soda, but still sweet. The first few tastes are great, then I’m not eager to drink more. The sourness is completely hidden under the sugar. Much like a raspberry soda. Pretty nice and great for people who don’t like beer. At least it’s another lambic rating.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 14, 2009 Bottled 250ml. -Clear ruby red coloured, small pink head, a bit artificial raspberry nose. Sweet raspberry taste which reminds me on PEZ candies. Acidic finish, average framboise. Vaiz (181), Den Haag, Netherlands
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Nov 29, 2009 Pours clear pinkish red with a white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma of artificial raspberry and disgustingly sweet. Flavor is even worse, very sweet with artificial raspberry and white sugar. Short finish. Not much resemblance to beer anymore. Maybe this is just not my style. Hermod (318), Vantaa, Finland
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 19, 2009 Bottle, CMarket, Vantaa. Pours dark red color, with a thin head. Aroma mainly of raspberry. Flavor is sweet raspberries and strawberry. Quite highly carbonated, almost like a soda. The finish is quite sour in a very pleasant kinda way. Really enjoyed this one. DeanF (332), Paris, France
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 19, 2009 Pours stupidly out of a 250ml can in a glob-glob-glob fashion that really just pissed me off. Looks like a fruity pink drink for the ages with fruity pink head, but at least said fruity pink head kind of sticks around. Smells like raspberry syrup, slight lambic fruit hints in there but they’re hard to find with all that syrup stench going on. Taste isn’t so bad, good lambic mix of raspberry and some grains. Still very sweet though. ricke (267), Malme, Sweden

A strange deep red color with both pink and brownish hues. A medium sized head with a slight pink nuance. Some lacings.
A very simple smell, almost completely one-dimensional. Basically just aromas of artificial raspberries - raspberry candy, cheap raspberry fruit juice, bubblegum. Perhaps some notes of strawberry-like fruitiness as well. Smells more like candy than beer.
The taste makes me wonder whether this Is this beer or if it is raspberry soda. It’s certainly more reminiscent of the latter. It just tastes like very sweet artificial raspberries, some notes of strawberries. Perhaps a semi-tart lemony flavor in the middle. If I really focus, I think I can detect a very faint hint of malts beneath the sweet fruits. The biggest problem is not the fruits per se, but the fact that they are really synthetic in character - no real flavor of genuine fruits. The finish is short with notes of bubblegum, some minerals and more raspberries.
Light body with soda-like carbonation. The big amount of carbonation stops this one from becoming overly sugary sweet.
If I would be in the mood for a sweet soda and looking for a substitute, I’d definitely go for this one, but as a beer it falls really short. It’s to sweet, overly simplistic and quite boring after a while. It’s not that it tastes awful or anything, it’s just not a good beer. A poor version of the fruit lambic.

Sappy raspberry aroma with a faint note of almonds. Taste is citric acids, artificial sweetener and strawberry jam. Light-bodied and lively mouthfeel. A rather medicore fruit beer. Not a favorite.
