WeeHeavySD (1861), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Oct 3, 2008 small bottle via trade with kpressley77. Pours orange with a tan head. Nose is fruity with no tartness. The feel of the beer quite tart but the flavor is more sweet and fruity. An odd gueze that has all this contradictory elements. fonefan (4871), Ulfborg, Denmark Jul 21, 2008 Bottle 33cl. Clear medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, friuty - grapefruit, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat to soft. (240508) acrdz (4373), Boulder, Colorado, USA Jun 2, 2008 330ml bottle. Sparkiling bubbles in a honey colored body. Smells of dusty old amber ale (basic wort) with some heavy metallic notes. Honey sweet up front, then super sweet aspartame over the middle and in the finish. Basically just apple and ear sweetness. Very simple and soda-pop like. Tranquillity (1074), Espoo, Finland May 16, 2008 Bottled. Hazy orange, small white head. Fantastic peach aroma with cherries. Not that sour, more fruity than most geuzes, long finish. Great! KimJohansen (4294), Copenhagen V, Denmark Apr 26, 2008 Clear golden with medium head. Sour aroma with barnyard and grapefruit notes. Sour flavor with hay, grapefruit and barnyard notes. Refreshing stuff.
