Tap, at a vaguely Greek bar close to Brussels Nord, March 2006. Hazy gold, thin short white head and moderate condition. Gentle sweetness apparent in the aroma, low sticky sweetness in the mouth with a suggestion of lambic notes, gentle fruity tartness in the finish.

Aug 21, 2008 A clear orange colored beer, with a beige foamed head. It disappears quickly. The aroma of wet dough, a little sour and woody. The taste is fresh and a little fruity, also a little sour. It has light dry aftertaste.

Aug 2, 2008 Bottle. Sour, musty vinegar aroma. Yellow amber color with thin head. Initially slightly sweet then a musty vinegar malt flavor. Okay - not quite traditional but not overly sweet.

Jun 14, 2008 Bottle at ÅBF08 as Timmermanns Gueuze. Citric aroma. Seemingly clear golden colour. Very small white head. Citric flavour. Slightly sweet and teaish, with a quite dry finish. Almost like aspartam aftertaste.

Jun 7, 2008 Amber and the aroma has sourness and light citrus notes. The flavour has sourness, but also light sweetness, light barnyard and caramel. I suppose this isn’t for the hard-core Gueuze-fan, but maybe a good place to start for the beginner?

Jun 7, 2008 Gold pour,good head,carbonation good,head dissappears quickly though.Aroma,cinnamon,candy,clove,orange,coriander.Flavour,coriander,clove cinnamon,(tops)cherry,cider taste,lemon(sour).This is a real mixture something else,the flavour is catching,a large mouthfull is really lovely to take in.getting to like these sour type ales and lambics.Finish is full flavoured,nicely sour,dry,hoppy,good ale.
