Commercial Description:
Jack's Revenge is a very deep, dark strong ale with a long malty finish. Its strength is well balanced by a carefully chosen hop blend. Goes well with roast beef. One of a trilogy of beers based upon ghost stories from the Norfolk Broads.

Bottle @ TFODRBSG, Ulfborg, 2008.
[thank you, Brugsmansia/fonefan]
Pours clear broen with virtually no head. Aroma is sweet, light chocolate and coffee with some toffee notes. Flat and a little bit thin. Flavour is dry, lots of roasted notes giving way to sweet chocolate and coffee in fine balance.

Bottle. Blackish/purple beer with a sweet milky chocolate and roasted aroma. The flavour is quite watery at the finish, but at the beginning it is roasted, milky chocolate and slightly bitter. Overall an average beer.
