Jun 10, 2005 Cask@Catford Beer Festival. Quite a nice little stout. very drinkable. Quite a rich mocha roastyness, yet quite soft. NIce dungy, earthy qualities, the finish is quite long, and with some nice roasty bitterness.

Some roast aroma. Black smooth on the palate and slightly fruity with a bitter coffee roast finish.

May 3, 2005 Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A black stout with nice off white lacing. The aroma is a little roasty with some coffee and some rich fruit. The taste also features coffee and although the mouthfeel seems a little greasy it’s still a really nice drink.
