On draught at the brewpub in Coral Gables, FL. Pours a clear copper reddish color brew with an average size off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some nice lacing. Aroma of roasted caramel malt, roasted nuts, a touch of flowery hops and some toffee. Taste is medium bodied with flavors of roasted caramel malt, toffee some dry fruit and a touch of chocolate. Finish is slightly bitter with a slowly disappearing fruit and roasted nut aftertaste.

Probably one of their best, this has no body but boasts a fantastic smell of roasted chestnuts and cinnamon. The flavor doesn’t fall too short either, sweet and spicy. Smooth. Weak body, tho.

Draught at the pub. Nearly opaque mahogany with reddish hues. Foamy light cocoa head that leaves no lacing. Aroma iis mild roasted malt and toffee. Flavor roasted malt, chocolatey and a bit of pecan. Mediuk bodied. Fairly dry, not sweet. A light bitter roast finish.

Dark brown colour body, significantly malted, with chocolate malt, licorice and root beer and nutty like. A bit of roast, and of hop. Not a bad brown.

Tap from sampler. A really good nut brown. Nice brown pour, small head. aroma is full of nuts, whole grain bread, yeast, honey and caramel. Flavor is better than I expected. Some great nutty flavors, caramel malts, some hops presence and a nice mouthfeel. I enjoyed this.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear amber to brown with frothy tan to mocha head and full on thick cobweb lacing. The aroma has a varied malt attack with roasted malts, biscuit malts, bread, mild chocolate malts and just a hint of vague hops. The taste is full on roasty malts with medium roasted malts, some biscuit and solid (and tasty) chocolate malts all coming together in harmony. I really like the addition of chocolate malts in this beer. It goes very well with the rest of the flavor. Some of the rest being a light amount of oxidation and some pine hops. Good stuff.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours reddish brown with tan head. Sweet malty aroma. Nutty flavor with caramel and a nice amount of hop bitterness. Medium body with light carbonation. One of their better beers on tap. Smooth and easy drinking.
