British Fuggle hop, well malted, even some sugar.Abov average mouthfeel. Lacey. The bitterness is fine, but its a bit astringent like licking the hop leaf. Today I did not find this too drinkable. daknole (2941), Plantation, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 15, 2008 Tap. Amber pour. Aroma is really bready and some yeast. Also some floral and sweet hops on the nose. The malt hits the tongue first with some bready notes and then the hops kick in. Just ok. Ibrew2or3 (2761), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 1, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pours copper with faint haze, off white head and sheet lacing. The aroma is full of bread and roastiness along with some soft hoppiness. The taste is up front malt roastiness, some biscuit, bread and nuttiness. By midway and to the finish an assertive pine hop and grapefruit hop bitterness surface and linger into the finish. It ends almost entirely with hop bitterness and the malts only a memory. smith4498 (897), Miami, Florida, USA
