Cast yourself adrift with this fruity and malty, red brown bittersweet beer. It has a serene caramel character and the finish is dry and fruity. Hops: Yakima Galena, Goldings.

[CASK: The Waterhouse, Manchester 18/04/07] A dissapointing brew from Titanic. A mediocre and nothing flashy. Shame as Titanic have produced some great treats for my tastebuds in the past.

Cask, The Lion , Liverpool. Dark reddy tinged brown with a creamy medium off white head. Gentle aroma with some fruit present. Caramel malt base to the flavour which was smooth, quite sweet and had some balanced hop in there too. Bitter finish. Reasonable but nowt special.

Cask at the Chestnut Tree, Sherwood, Nottingham. This amber beer has a faint malt aroma and a fairly thin palate. The flavour has roasted malt, caramel and a dry hop finish. I found it fairly unremarkable, especially when compared to some of Titanic’s other beers.

Cask, White Horse, Oxford. Light brown with a dense fine cap of off-white, very sticky and appetizing. Caramel and fig aroma. Soft and pleasant sweetness. Caramel, grainy malt. Gentle fruity esters, apples. Clean, soft. No hop presence. I liked this more when I was under the impression it was a mild.
