[CASK: The Waterhouse, Manchester 24/04/07] Think I want to cry. Titanic were becomeing one of the brewers I was pleased to see on a pump clip as I breezed in the pub door. This ale however was a total shocked!! Weak and bad tasting. The first ale i tried in the Wetherspoons Ale Festival (23rd April - 7th May 2007). Not a good one to start on.

Cask at GBBF 2009 ... amber ... light grassy hop nose ... light fruity little dry musty hop.

Cask handpull, The Bull at Witherly. Freshly plucked thistle aroma; lean and green, but sightly nutty. Dab of lime, Rich Tea malts, mostly grass and hay, slight soapy licks. Same Flymo hoppage as Oslo Mikrobryggeri Bitter and Derby Triple Hop. Uncharacteristic, conversational grassy sessions from Titanic; went from hating it, to undersatnding it, to almost loving it in the space of 2 pints. Really well done.

Cask, half pint in perfect condition at The White Star in Stoke. Golden body with light haziness. Very low head, but solid laceworks on the glass. Inviting floral aroma with notes of earthy malts. Flavour profile of mild fruity hops sustained by lingering bitter endnotes. Well bodied for its abv strength (02.05.2009).

Handpulled cask at Duck in the Pond, Harrow Weald. Pale yellow with white head and slightly hazy. Loads of flavour and good body for such a low gravity. Good bitter finish with a touch of lemon.

Cask conditioned at The turf Tavern, Oxford Ratebeerian day. Pale gold with white head. This was more like it, a decent session beer, hoppy, lemony and dry, and yes when Fin mentioned it i did get hazelnuts in the aroma and flavour. Good body for the ABV and a good dry finish. I liked it.

Cask conditioned at Turf Tavern, Oxford on the Ratebeerian day around Oxford 09-02-08 Light golden in colour with some lemon on the nose, this was quite nutty in taste with hazlenuts coming to the fore, there was also reasonable bitterness and some decent citrusy flavours and a bit of creamy vanilla, but it kept coming back to hazlenuts for me. Considering its strength this was quite a decent effort

Cask conditioned - handpump - Fish, Northampton. An amber coloured beer with a tiny off white coloured head. The aroma is fruity but there are notes of tea. The taste is malty and fruity but was served quite warm which spoiled it a little. No hop flavours whatsoever which is so unlike Titanic.
