Commercial Description:
This beer is brewed to be light, yet flavorful, with three malts and a small portion of flaked rye. The rye highlights the addition of Wisconsin honey by creating a mild spiciness. Though honey is added during the brewing process, it is consumed by our brewing yeast during fermentation, leaving a wonderful hint of honey flavor without the sweetness we associate with it. With Wisconsin being the fifth largest honey producer in the United States, we at TBC feel compelled to brew with it!

On tap at the Tittletown Brew Pub. Poured a light yellow color with a very small sized white head. Not very much to this one, some honey but nothing else that really stands out. Thin body.

Pretty much average in taste and aroma, the honey does give it a perkiness of sweetness that distinguihes it from the other samplers, but not enough to buy a pint of it.

Translucent gold in color with a white wisp in the form of a question mark for the head (hopefully that’s not foretelling.) Aroma is like watery tea with a dab of honey, along with a few accents for a hop profile. Smooth and sweet – the honey implored is fresh, like it’s straight from the comb. Interesting twang on the backend, turning it into something similar to those high production lagers from Holland.

Brewpub sampler. Golden brown color. Lightly sweet aroma. Pale malt flavor with leafy sweetness. Whatever.

Had on tap at the brewpub in downtown Green Bay, WI - pours a light pale golden. Not much of an aroma. Hint of honey sweetness, not much else. NO real hoppiness noted. Nothing offensive - just nothing to get excited about. Decent with spicy food.

Clear gold color with a small white head. Rich malt aroma, quite pleasant, as most honey brews come off quite dry. Sweet malty flavors that seem to get sweeter as you go.

Light yellow, no head to speak of; bitter and a little skunky; cardboardy flavor comes in at the end. This brewery does better.

I found the honey flavor distinctly noticeable and very nice indeed. A quality offering, on tap at the brewpub. I wasn’t quite as focused on the beer as I might have been, because I was more interested in my dinner companion. Ah, romance...
