phishpond417 (1360), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Aug 12, 2008 If this is what the pilsners used to taste like, I think i would have enjoyed many of them back in the day. Pours a bright, vibrant yellow colour with a large white top. Aroma is of corn, grain and lemon peel. Mouthfeel is full and slightly creamy with an inital corn taste, but it quickly mellows into in a comfortable soothing firm malted texture. Strong abv, something like 8%- and alcohol taste is evident, but balanced. Spalt hops evident in the finish. General_Gao (2434), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Jul 12, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Not much in the way of aroma other than watered-down pale malt. Poured a clear gold color with a thin white head. Light bodied and on the dry side with very mild hop bitterness. Very grassy flavor with a hint of pine cleaner/clove. Eh. Skyview (2768), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Apr 27, 2008 On draught at the brewpub in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Pours a clear pale apple juice golden brew with a creamy off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thick white ring with spotty lacing. Aroma of multi-grain malt, flowery hops with a touch of apple and pear character. Taste is light to medium bodied, well carbonated with flavors of multi-grain malt, apples with a touch of mild bitterness. Finish has a good balance of bitterness and semi-sweet malt that even has some light fruit in the background. Pilseners are difficult to make, Dave did an excellent job preparing this one. Jabswitch (179), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Apr 25, 2008 This is a great pilsener! Not normally a big fan of the style, but this is a very tasty offering from Titletown. Golden, crisp with just the right bitterness - no skunky odor or taste as with some of the Euro style pilsners. A fine beer from a brewpub that continues to improve its offerings. Juelze (668), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Apr 14, 2008 On tap at Titletown. Pours a clear golden color with thin wispy white had that leaves an abundant amount of lacing. Aroma is grassy hops, light malt, and a sourdough bread like nose. Taste is grassy, light hop spice. light toasted malt. This beer finishes sharp and to the point. Very drinkable. Good job Dave.
