phishpond417 (1360), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 30, 2008 Another winner from Titletown: Pours a clear orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is very pleasent, strong floral hops and pine- well balanced citrus hops all the way through. but half way through the palate is smoothes itself out and becomes even more delightful, eventually softening up in the finish. Ofortuna (303), Grafton, Wisconsin, USA Sep 1, 2007 Ontap at the brewery. Not impressed at all with any of the beers at this brewery. Typical poor to barely average macro brewpub offerings. The food was much better however, but I’ll save that for rating the place itself. Poor non-existent head and watery appearance. Hardly any decernable aroma having to really REALLY grasp at pulling anything out. Flavour itself is actaully a bit more than I reckoned for with some light pilsner malt and citrus. However, the hop profile was sad and lonely here with a light dusting of floral and grassiness. The house character is very prevalent as well with all their beers having an odd metallic taste and certain terroir that I find very quite displeasing. Not a fan at all. Ughsmash (2958), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Aug 20, 2007 On tap at Titletown. Poured clear medium amber with a short white head and a light ring. Aroma picked up sweet caramel and medium-skinned fruits.. very soft with a light floral backing.. quite nice. Flavor was of lightly-toasted caramel at the core… quite sweet with mild floral bitterness around.. perhaps some artificial sweetener evident at the back-end.. tacky, long-ish finish. Medium-bodied and sweet throughout with a sticky-sweet finish. OK balance. JK (2392), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA Jul 18, 2007 Another from Skyview. Cloudy, copper color. Thick white head. this is a good looking beer. Aroma has light hops. Flavor is light hops as well with malt, and a very salty taste. Some grassy flavor, and interesting in that is is more focused on malt than hops. BDR (1862), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Jul 14, 2007 Once again thanks to skyview for sharing. Light grain/malt nose on this hazy brown beer - a little dark for a "pale" ale. Roasted malt body with an earthy flavor that ben said was from some fuggle hops or something. Not what I’d expect from a Pale ale but very good.
