phishpond417 (1861), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Feb 28, 2009 Enjoyed a pint of this at Titletown: Poured a light reddish amber colour with a small white head. Light, sour fruit notes but not quite as tart as i thought it would be. Aroma is pleasent, fruity- but like i said a little soft fermented fruits. Taste is pretty smooth- light creamy and pleasent all around. I think it could use a little bulking up- not the best rep for the style. Skyview (3985), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Feb 2, 2009 On draught at the Titletown brewpub in downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin. Pours a dark copper amber brew with an average off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt, some pear/apple fruit, a hint of honey, and a touch of figs. Taste is medium to full bodied, smooth, with flavors of caramel malt, honey, a touch of flowery hops, and some alcohol. Finish is semi-sweet with a caramel/fruit aftertaste, alcohol warmth without the typical alcohol bite. Nice! Petrucci914 (574), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jan 17, 2009 Pours a dark golden color with a medium off-white head. Aroma is mostly caramel malts and some yeast. Taste is much the same. Very one-sided, me thinks. Juelze (889), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jan 17, 2009 On tap at Titletown. It’s an amber color with light off-white head. Aroma is lightly spicy with some fruit and yeast tones. Taste is fruity, spicy, belgian sugar.
