Commercial Description:
The light floral and fruity notes of characterful English hops and yeast complement the sweet, nutty flavor of English barley in this Best Bitter style ale. Enjoy a pint with salmon or other seafood dishes.

On tap at Titletown. Poured translucent brighter golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up citrus and caramel sweetness upfront with floral and grassy hoppage behind.. OK. The flavor was kinda sharp with grassy bitterness taking over.. pale malt support.. not very well balanced. Medium-bodied and tangy on the palate with some sourness in addition to the hefty bitterness.. never really came together.

tap - poured a amber color with small head. Aroma - hardly any to speak of. Flavor - barley and some strange metallic taste. Palate - light soapy mouthfeel with average carbonation. metallic finish with no aftertaste. Overall - tastes like a light beer, hardly any flavor. How can this beer be a bitter?? Below average beer and would not purchase again.

On tap at Titletown. Pours a golden color with thin wispy head. Aroma is of cereal grain, light citrus and some biscuity malt. Taste mirrors the aroma. A decent bitter from Dave and crew.

Pours a crisp gold color with a medium creamy head that fades to a simple ring, with a bit of spotty lacing. Aroma is grainy, with a touch of citrus. Taste is grainy, with some citrus hops. Very crisp and a nice palate-cleanser.

On draught and on cask drawn at the brewpub in downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear golden amber brew with a creamy off-white head that dissipates to a thin white ring and film top along with some spotty lacing. Aroma of powdered golden multi-grain malt, some flowery hops, and a touch of fruit. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of roasted golden grain malt, some crystal and citrus hops, and a hint of roasted nuts. Finish has semi-dry and mild bitterness that quickly disappears.

Sampled on draught at the brewery: Pours a semi cloudy orangeish colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma carries soft floral notes, bright fruit and oranges on the nose. Taste has a firm hop mouthfeel. Mildly acidic but well balanced with a long smooth finish.
