Ughsmash (3979), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Apr 15, 2009 On tap at Titletown. Poured translucent brighter golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up citrus and caramel sweetness upfront with floral and grassy hoppage behind.. OK. The flavor was kinda sharp with grassy bitterness taking over.. pale malt support.. not very well balanced. Medium-bodied and tangy on the palate with some sourness in addition to the hefty bitterness.. never really came together. gws57 (1131), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Mar 10, 2009 Had this one on draught as part of WinTour 3 at the brewpub in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Clear, medum golden yelow pour, bitter but meh. SHANER4 (370), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jan 31, 2009 tap - poured a amber color with small head.
Aroma - hardly any to speak of.
Flavor - barley and some strange metallic taste.
Palate - light soapy mouthfeel with average carbonation. metallic finish with no aftertaste.
Overall - tastes like a light beer, hardly any flavor. How can this beer be a bitter?? Below average beer and would not purchase again. Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Dec 27, 2008 On draught and on cask drawn at the brewpub in downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear golden amber brew with a creamy off-white head that dissipates to a thin white ring and film top along with some spotty lacing. Aroma of powdered golden multi-grain malt, some flowery hops, and a touch of fruit. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of roasted golden grain malt, some crystal and citrus hops, and a hint of roasted nuts. Finish has semi-dry and mild bitterness that quickly disappears. phishpond417 (1861), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Dec 26, 2008 Sampled on draught at the brewery: Pours a semi cloudy orangeish colour with a medium sized white head.
