Commercial Description:
Named after the Packer and Hall of Fame member Tony Canadeo, this beer represents one of the few ale styles that originated in Germany. This bright gold colored ale is made using European Pilsner & wheat malts and German Spalter Spalt hops. Due to the use of special yeast and fermentation methods, this beer is highly reminiscent of a lager, possesses a lightly malty body, low fruitiness and a balanced European hop flavor and aroma.

Had this one on draught as part of WinTour 3 at the brewpub in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Clear, golden yellow pour with a clean malty nose, balanced sweetness and fruitiness into a smooth and soft finish. For the style, this beer was actually very good.

Man, I must have had a good batch of this or something - clear golden beer with a large, soapy head - inviting aroma of peppery hops, herbal character, and a soft, underlying sweetness - really well-balanced and refreshing, starting with a moderate honey sweetness, followed by a drying floral flavor, and ending with crisp, grassy hops - a great beer with food - one of my favorites here.

clean gold color with minimal white head. Lemony nose with a similar lemon flavor in a distinctly kolsh body. Somehow the lemon in here doesn’t remind me so much of the fruit but of Earl Grey White-tip tea.

Cold, clear pale yellow and transparent in appearance. Aroma is lightly brad-laden, crisp lemons and overall refreshing. Much more flavorful and vivacious on the palate than expected. Crisp pils malt and nearly sugared sourdough bread, with a musky nature yet clean. Yeasty finish. Very well done for the pale lager style.

On tap at Titletown. Poured a clear bright golden with just a dusting of white head. The aroma picked up an interesting array of bready malts, honey, and floral with more honey emphasis as it warmed up. Flavor found sweet honey and a pinch of vegetal malts at the base.. floral bitterness surrounded and accented well.. some apples and other light fruits as it further warmed. Light-bodied and crisp on the palate with some tacky sweetness at the finish. OK.

Draft at the brewpub. The aroma was of light honey and biscuity malt. Poured a clear golden color with a white head. Light bodied and slightly sweet with grassy hop, honey, and pale malt flavors.

Clear yellow color. Smell of hops, slight malt, corn, leather and lemon zest. Taste of lemons, citrus peal, corn meal, hops, honey and a little bit of flowers. It’s definitley refreshing. Dry at the end.

On tap. Light yellow color with slight yellow haze. Aroma is of a slight graasiness and maybe some light citrus. Taste is roasted grain, light floral hops and mild citrus. High carbonation and easy drinking but not avery exciting beer.
