53.16/5.03.06/5.0Special-0English pint

Commercial Description:
This golden "ESB" style ale is made from Scottish grown Golden Promise barley, which is favored by Scottish brewers as well as whiskey distillers. The light floral and fruity notes of characterful English hops and yeast complement its sweet, nutty malt flavor. Enjoy a pint with a burger, steak, or pub salad.

Pours a bright orange-yellow colour with great hop aroma, and slightly citrusy flavor. well balanced, fruity and a very versatile beer overall. Tastey, and bitter ( just how i like it) great beer overall.

Part of a sampler tray during a visit to Green Bay. Unfrotunately, this was a couple of months ago, and my memory is faint. Nice place to visit, All the samples were tatsty.

Amber color with a thin white head. Pale and lightly toasted malt with a touch of mellow wood. Mild caramel, toast malt and pecans. I catch a very sharp bitter bite in the finish that wrecks everything ahead of it.

On draught at the brewpub in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden copper brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and white ring. Aroma of roasted caramel malt, some grassy hops a touch of of pear fruit. Taste is light to medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of caramel malt some roasted nuts and grassy hops. Finish is slightly dry with a mild caramel aftertaste that quickly disappears.

On tap at the brewery. Appearance is a rich copper color with light white head. Aroma is of toasted malt, light floral hops and bit of fruity/citrus character. Taste mirrors the aroma with a nice blending of the fruitiness and sharp nuttiness of the malt. Well balanced and easy drinking.
