phishpond417 (1861), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Jul 28, 2008 Pours a dark clear amber colour, with a nice sized slightly off white head. Aroma is rich, nutty and just barely evident of hops. Mouthfeel is full, well carbonated and flavor is smooth with a long finish. Just a touch of hops at the end. Great beer! GeneralGao (3051), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Jul 12, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. There was a nonspecific earthy note in the nose with whiffs of brown sugar and nuts. Poured a clear dark orange color with an off white head. Light to medium bodied and slightly sweet. I tasted toasted bread, light brown sugar, nuts, and a hint of sassafras. JPDIPSO (4862), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Apr 8, 2008 Amber color with a modest white head. Light fruit and mild malt aromas. I keep catching fruit in this one. Some raspberry and caramel in the flavors. Lightly sweet in the finish and linger. Skyview (3992), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Mar 29, 2008 On draught at the Titletown brewpub in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Pours a clear light golden amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates clean. Aroma is very thin, some light multi-grain malt and a touch of fruit and citrus zest. Taste is light bodied, some light carbonation with a thin flavor of multi-grain malt and a touch of citrus hops. Finish is watery, clean cut and crisp. One of the lightest beers offered at Titletown that I’ve tried. Juelze (889), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Mar 14, 2008 Pours a dark clear red with off white head. Aroma is spicy, with touches of grain drwing some sharp contrast with the fruity notes that waft into the nose. Taste is light citrus with spicy unertones that weace together quite nicely. An adequate malt backbone keeps things well balanced.
