Not only did I buy a growler of this baby, I had a pint of it as well. Tastey beer- dark brown mainly black coming throw. Smoothest beer you will taste in years- roasted malts, toasty near the finish with noticeable chocolate, earth and subtle hops on the finish. Something’s dirty about this bier but i like it! Fantastic creation from Bill and Dave.

Pours brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is light cocoa, caramel, and some nuttiness. Taste is much the same. A good balance of chocolate, nuttiness and maltiness of a brown ale, and some light hops. Not bad.....but I wouldn’t really consider it a Schwarzbier.

Pours a rich brown color with thin tan head. Aroma is of nutty malt, light caramel, mild fruit and light chocolate. Taste is of nutty malt, light grain, floral hops, ripe fruit, sweet bread. Palate is light and crisp and amazingly refreshing Really enjoyed this one.
