smith4498 (258), Miami, Florida, USA Apr 25, 2008 Pours pale yellow with white head. Not much aroma. Faint taste of grains (rice, corn?) and slight hops. Light body with average carbonation. Another generic tasting lager.
pumpmaster (253), Florida, USA Jul 13, 2008 12 ounce bottle at El Novillo Nicaraguan restaurant in Miami, FL Not bad with churrasco. Suttree (2265), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 12, 2008 Ever notice how news anchors always pronounce Nicaragua with a ridiculious, overwrought Latin accent? Even when they usualy speak with flat, accent-less monotone for 99% of the newscast, all of sudden its "Bob, tell us more about the civil unrest in Neeeeeeeeeeeecarrrrragwa..." Guinness4Duff (408), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Jun 24, 2008 Bottle. Extremely pale colored pour with a white head. Aroma is faint, some grainy malt and a hint of some hops. Has a biting carbonation which, once done stinging the mouth, leads way to a light grainy malt flavor with some bitterness. Not very good. Sparky27 (413), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jun 9, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Dakine. Next stop on my Central America Beer Tour is Nicaragua. Pours a clear gold with 2 finger white head. Nose is light grain and hops. Taste is the same with a sweet finish. Medium mouth feel. Pretty boring. Cool bottle. :-) roder_60 (789), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 7, 2008 Pours typical pale yellow with fizzy white head. Aroma has some fruitiness to it and some flowers. Flavor is a bit corny but much more substantial than most pale lagers, especially the ones ive had from mexico/central america. Has a slight different fruitiness to it. Overall, I liked it.
