MrBunn (815), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 2, 2008 Bottle. Appearance is a slighty hazy gold with minimal carbonation after a smallish, white head forms. Aromas are thick with bready malt and grass but also contain a bit of a funky smell... like old shoes or something. Flavor is nice enough... bread and grass with a slight ammount of peppery hops. Not bad, not great. bubbleflubber (645), Collinsville, Virginia, USA Jul 21, 2008 Pours a hazy straw into the glass, with a thin fizzy suds head that diminishes quickly and leaves trace lace. The nose is a bit reminiscent of a wheat brew, with some slight yeast and maybe some interlacing corn. Pale malts upfront, with a lackluster grain and biscuit-hop finish (that might introduce a few light spices). The mouthfeel is seltzery and a tad thin. Not a whole lot going on here, honestly. csbosox (956), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA Jul 21, 2008 12oz bottle from natedoggkc. Served in a pils glass. Aroma is lighty kilned malt with a bit of a cracker, and a slight earthiness, and a touch of sourness. The flavor is mostly saltine cracker and very light earthy/spiciness. A little bit of sour in the taste too. A nice lawnmower beer, nothing more, but presentable and truly thirst quenching. Seems adjunct free. obxdude10 (1387), Reading, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 15, 2008 This lager pours a clear golden color with a very generous white head. The flavors leaves a little sour note in the aftertaste and the finish. Otherwise, it’s a fairly tasty beer. The aroma leaves a little to be desired, with only a little subtle hint of hops and flowers. The body is pretty smooth and easy drinking. This is really nothing to write home about, although it’s more drinkable than a Yuengling Lager or a BMC offering. gotohelunc (333), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Jul 15, 2008 Bottle. Thin yeasy nose. Cloudy yellow color. Crisp grassy flavor with sour notes in the finish. Lovely little session lager, though boring.
