Commercial Description:
Tommyknockers slipped into the mining camps in the 1800's with the discovery of gold to the West. The majestic Rocky Mountains have inspired the cool refreshing taste of Alpine Glacier Lager. As clean and fresh as the rushing water from icy streams and as brisk as a climb up a frozen glacier, this brew contains the finest ingredients in the Tommyknocker tradition.

Pours a golden haze. The nose is lightly hoppy, sweet honey, and a touch of malt. The taste is a sweet malt, with a light bit of hops and corn.

Aroma is strikingly different, seems to be clove and nutmeg, not what I expect from a lager. Beer is a nice light pale golden yellow. With a medium sized white head. Flavor over all is surprisingly week. Low carbonation, which is a plus, but still no memorable hops, or malt. I don’t think I will be getting this again.

Not much too this. Pours a pale yellow with a hint of haze and a modest white head. It is smooth and easy to drink tho unremarkable. A good session beer if you’re not looking for big taste but want something better than a macro.

Average ale color with a thick head. If you drink this out of a bottle, watch out, as it really foams! Flavor has strong fruity overtones, so it tastes almost like a cider more than a beer. Exceptionally smooth, it goes down easily. Could be a good beer to help wean people off of macro-brews.

Corny name that recalls certain macro-brewery advertising campaigns but a decent lager overall. Very pale w/ a great big old head that leaves spots of lace behind. Nose is grassy and herbal, body is light and effervescent and it finishes w/ a crisp tartness.

Pale straw and cloudy, with a thin head and continual effervescence streaming up the sides of the glass. The aroma is grain and yeast. Light and a bit sour on the tongue. Finishes quickly though.

Wow. Folks really hate this. My bottles were a month past their best date, but I still got a lot of pils malt aroma and a really nice malt flavor. Great balance and a lot of malt. I don’t particularly like this brewery, but I thought this was one of their better beers.I

On tap at the brewpub. pours a bright yellow with a white head having great lacing. Evident straw aroma. This has a really nice crisp taste. Very clean and flawless. Grassy, light and tasty. This is an example of a light subtle flavored beer that is underappreciated by the raters.
