Commercial Description:
Tommyknockers slipped into the mining camps in the 1800's with the discovery of gold to the West. The majestic Rocky Mountains have inspired the cool refreshing taste of Alpine Glacier Lager. As clean and fresh as the rushing water from icy streams and as brisk as a climb up a frozen glacier, this brew contains the finest ingredients in the Tommyknocker tradition.

Bland weak lager. Stale and relatively tasteless with a bit off setting aroma. Fizzy yellow garbage.

The beer had a nice frothy head. The appearance was a lightly cloudy yellow. There was not an aftertaste, but the beer lacked flavor.

Don’t know if it’s just the brew I got, but the word for this one is stale. Stale aromas, thin upon the palate, and stale to the tongue. Coudy, unfined yellow body, no real head. Grainy, woodsy aromas.

Golden body with a light white head. Semi-citrus aroma masked with pines. Sweet body with malt accents very prevalent, hops are not there at all. Clean ending.

Aroma is subdued...mild grassy hops and a tinge of malt sweetness. Cloudy yellow color...guess they didn’t use rice to clarify it like ole A-B. Fore is watery then quickly followed by bready, grainy malt. Extremely low hop profile. Tastes a little nutty at times and is quite quenching.

Bottle... Hazy, light yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The nose is of menthol, straw and butterscotch (odd). Thin, watery flavor. Good balance with just a hint of grain. Light-bodied and astringent with medium carbonation. Finishes crisp and dry.

Market Square Liquors, Tallahassee, Fl. - 12 oz bottle. Pours a medium golden with a thin white frothy head that leaves a slick coating of lacing. Pleasant aroma, some grassy notes, a hint of caramel. Flavor has some hints of nuts, a bit of grass and faint fruity hoppiness. Well balanced for a lager. Mouthfeel is thinnish, but about as expected, and turns a tad metallic in the finish. Decent and drinkable.

Stinky, musty lemony aroma. Clear. Label looks like it was drawn by a math club geek sitting out gym class. All that’s missing is the notebook paper lines. Brothy and tart. Funky, metallic and underbittered. Astringent, pie crust finish - greasy, pasty and bland. You know, you only get to input your 1729th rating once, and I had to go and blow it on this beer!
