Commercial Description:
Tommyknockers slipped into the mining camps in the 1800's with the discovery of gold to the West. The majestic Rocky Mountains have inspired the cool refreshing taste of Alpine Glacier Lager. As clean and fresh as the rushing water from icy streams and as brisk as a climb up a frozen glacier, this brew contains the finest ingredients in the Tommyknocker tradition.

Bottle from Peace St. Market in Raleigh. This one is gold with some hopcit and mild malty aromas. The palate is watery, and the flavors are indeed a bit mild. Not something I’d buy again.

Clear yellow color with a sweet honey and light corn aroma. Flavor of honey and light corn.

Sampled at a beer tasting I was working over the weekend.
Fizzy yellow body, wispy white head. The aroma and flavors are extremely placed… the only way I can even think to describe it is to say that it reminded me of tonic water; a trace of lemon and a hint of sodium. This almost has less going on than a Bud Select.

Cloudy yellow if a fizzy white head. Aroma has a hint of grapefruit. Flavor doesn’t exist. This beer is totally not offensive, but doesn’t actually have any flavor. A slightly fizzy mouthfeel.

Clear golden, thin head, I have to say being another american lager it usally doesn’t have much going on, and that is true, but this actually and some hops and roasted malt to it, and I liked it.

Thanks to Goldtwins for this one. Typical American Lager all the way. Large white head over a clear, medium yellow body. Lightly hopped and light malt come through in the aroma. The flavor mirrors the aroma but remains washed out and thin. Refreshing and decent but remains a real lawnmower beer.

Watery with very light malt taste. I agree the the rocky mountain label they placed in the description. Low alcohol, low flavor, low in everything. Thought it would be better because of the other tommy knocker beers.

Bottle. Light malt aroma - not very distinct. Light yellow with small head. Sweet light malt - not very strong. Rather blah.
