Commercial Description:
Tommyknockers slipped into the mining camps in the 1800's with the discovery of gold to the West. The majestic Rocky Mountains have inspired the cool refreshing taste of Alpine Glacier Lager. As clean and fresh as the rushing water from icy streams and as brisk as a climb up a frozen glacier, this brew contains the finest ingredients in the Tommyknocker tradition.

Poured a medium and hazy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Bottle best within 4 months of March ’05. Aromas of flowers with malts. Tastes of light grass and some sweet malts. Aromas and tastes (the tastes more so) on the softer side. Thin and watery body.

hazy gold color. this brew was malty with a sweet finish and a little bit of floral hops. not as refreshing as the bottle and name implies, but quaffable none the less.

Lightly cloudy goldish-yellow. Nose is clean and somewhat malty. Taste is smooth malts with a notable hop presence. Uneventful.

Hazy amber color with a very thin white head that disappears quick, mild hop flowery aroma. Malt taste is nearly void, hops are mild but stronger than the malt. An unimpressive beer, overall a weak bland mass produced tasting brew, something my wife would enjoy.

Faintly malty and sweet, fizzy, becomes slightly bland at the finish. Feels a bit round in the mouth. Overall, a very average and forgettable lager.

A light orange beer with a fine but disappearing white head. The aroma is very flowery. The flavor is sweet flowery with notes of caramel, leading to a hoppy end. I’m surprised how little malty this beer is.
