Commercial Description:
Tommyknockers slipped into the mining camps in the 1800's with the discovery of gold to the West. The majestic Rocky Mountains have inspired the cool refreshing taste of Alpine Glacier Lager. As clean and fresh as the rushing water from icy streams and as brisk as a climb up a frozen glacier, this brew contains the finest ingredients in the Tommyknocker tradition.

Clear looking. Mediocre smelling and tasting. Pretty much a pale lager with a little bit more flavor, but not much better quality. Some citrus and grass.

From a bottle poured clear golden with a small head. Kind of a skunky flavor with a lingering finish.

Poured a light golden color. Aroma of lemon and some grains. The taste is very similar. This beer lacks malt.

Pours hazy golden with a sweet malty aroma. Flavor is grassy with some lemon notes. Fairly thin and unimpressive.

This lager pours like a pilsner - very golden in color, minimal head and slight lacing. Aroma of spice and citrus. Average lager taste with nothing memorable except for some citrus and a slight malt flavor. Another sampling from the Trail Mix.

Bottle. Fruity aroma. Hazy golden body, fluffy white head. Flavor is sweet, with only a little bite. Thin and somewhat bland.

This poured a very light yellow color with a big white head. Aroma was of grassy and corn. Flavor was much the same really malty with basically no signs of hops whatsoever. Blah

Wow. A lager with a large billowing sustainable white head, havent seen that too often. Hazy yellow body with some impressive lacing. Nose is lightly citrus and clean. Flavor is lemon and lightly grainy. Subtle hop profile in the finish with a metallic tanginess. Medium light body with moderate carbonation. If I didnt know any better, Id say they bottled a hefe with the wrong label! But pretty decent as far as a lager goes...
