Starts with a light bready and grainy flavor, finishes clean and smooth, light and watery mouthfeel, not much going on here but alright for the style.

I was really kind of surprised that this was recommended by the bartender. Hey, at least it’s not a bud! dkachur (2418), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

Golden pour with a one finger head, decent retention, not so decent lacing and lots of carbonation. Sweet grainy aroma with a hint of honey. Taste is granny smith apple followed by a dry, grassy bitterness. joeymacaroni (228), Wagontown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 12, 2008 pours a little bit more gold than most lagers i’ve seen...slightly hazy but not as much as a wheat beer...retains a thin white head after most of the head dissipates. smell is predominantly wheat with a little lemongrass. taste is a little bit bitter with a sweet touch. just a little pineapple is apparent. a little bit of a musky taste but mostly wheat. a touch of lemongrass. better than most lagers i’ve tried.i’d choose this over bud any day, but i wouldn’t drink it on a regular basis. cheapdark (2044), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 24, 2008 Nice yeasty smell, almost like rising bread or somthin. Some gunk on the bottom leads to an attractive hazy swirling pour. Almost wheat-beerish in appearance. Has more bite than a pale lager. Tries to come on like a pale ale but never quite gets there. Some carbonation, just enough for a creamy sensation on the palate, could use more. On the finish the medium hop bite fades into something a little more gentleman-like. Perhaps a little better than I expected but after all, it is a lager. agillespie81 (204), Denver, Colorado, USA

Light malt taste up front......crisp mouthfeel. Finishes very clean and dry. LinusStick (1850), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 4, 2008 Blah. If this is a premium lager, I’d hate to see their regular one. Aroma was so so. Grass and sourdough. Pour was a light yellow with a 3 finger white head. No bubbles, though. Taste was sourdough, grass and a hint of lemon but with hardly any carbonation. With more carbonation this would be a lot better.
