urbnhautebourg (934), Annapolis, Maryland, USA Mar 11, 2007 Wow. Folks really hate this. My bottles were a month past their best date, but I still got a lot of pils malt aroma and a really nice malt flavor. Great balance and a lot of malt. I don’t particularly like this brewery, but I thought this was one of their better beers.I jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 30, 2005 on tap-pours a thin white head with yellow body. Aroma is sweet grain. Taste is Grain with good carbonation. And a crisp mouthfeel. This was the first beer from Tommyknocker I tried, and was quite pleased after the mixed reviews I had heard after arriving in Colorado. ARMed (423), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 10, 2007 This beer has gotten a undeserved bad knock, probably because it is listed as a lager, but in reality it tastes more like a white ale. This is a tasty beer with a nice aroma, good lacing and a fruity tasty finish. Overall, try and think of this as a white belgium and rate as such. Not a bad beer! nearbeer (1325), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Mar 24, 2008 12oz, bb Jan 08. Clear golden with a three finger, lasting head. Aroma is dry grass and slight plastic corn. Flavor is dry grass and grain, with some lemon grass on the finish. Light-medium body is as smooth as any pale lager out there, and finishes dry. dp (487), uniontown, Ohio, USA Nov 14, 2007 second from their 6 pack sample, surprised i rated this so high, was not impressed at first, grew on me, good hop/malt sweet mix, expected something heavier without knowing thebeer’s background, definately worth another look
