unclemike (459), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA Jul 11, 2008 Hazy pale golden-yellow , has a small foamy white head that doesn’t last very long, light grainy and grassy aromas. Starts with a light bready and grainy flavor, finishes clean and smooth, light and watery mouthfeel, not much going on here but alright for the style.
brewski519 (85), Morrisville, North Carolina, USA Jan 8, 2009 This lager pours like a pilsner - very golden in color, minimal head and slight lacing. Aroma of spice and citrus. Average lager taste with nothing memorable except for some citrus and a slight malt flavor. Another sampling from the Trail Mix. DrDavid (674), Johnson, Vermont, USA Dec 28, 2008 Bottle. Fruity aroma. Hazy golden body, fluffy white head. Flavor is sweet, with only a little bite. Thin and somewhat bland. Beerman6686 (874), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 24, 2008 This poured a very light yellow color with a big white head. Aroma was of grassy and corn. Flavor was much the same really malty with basically no signs of hops whatsoever. Blah Butters (733), Temporarily in Nashville, Tennessee, USA Dec 11, 2008 Wow. A lager with a large billowing sustainable white head, havent seen that too often. Hazy yellow body with some impressive lacing. Nose is lightly citrus and clean. Flavor is lemon and lightly grainy. Subtle hop profile in the finish with a metallic tanginess. Medium light body with moderate carbonation. If I didnt know any better, Id say they bottled a hefe with the wrong label! But pretty decent as far as a lager goes... daknole (1294), Plantation, Florida, USA Dec 7, 2008 Bottle from Total Wine. Again the title of premium lager cracks me up. Grainy, malty, crap hops and watery describes this beer just fine.
