| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 6, 2006 A very strong stout which seemed to be more of an imperial stout than a sweet stout. Aside from that I found it to be very boring and uninspired. sneagrams3 (1759), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 18, 2005 Draft, at Great Decatur Beerfest. Black opaque pour. Huge sweet chocolate and coffee aroma. More sweet chocolate and roasty flavors, with some subdued hops. Very drinkable sweet stout, though not my favorite style of stout. No nitro at the beerfest. beerguy101 (3946), Newark, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 24, 2005 Eclipse black color. Small to medium sized tannish head. Aroma is chocolate and coffee. A light to medium bodied sweet stout. Malts are chocolate and coffee. Slightly spicy hops. Mellow malts, very easy drinking stout. Nice balance. The nitro conditioning was not that evident in the sample I had, which was a good thing. Good brewpub stout. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 16, 2005 Draught @ Tommy Knocker in Idaho Springs, CO. Black color, nitro head. Subtle roasted coffee and chocolate aromas with a hint of currants. A boring, watery, tiresome dry oatmeal stout which could have benefited with more hop bitterness and flavor but most of all, cut the nitro crap. Another waste of a potentially good beer. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 23, 2005 Draught. Appearance is excellent with light brown creamy head. Dark brown hue with good carbination. Aroma and flavor are weak. Follow is low with none tradional bite. Made to be drinkable by many. KAggie97 (2475), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 23, 2004 This one is like the student with much promise but lacks initiative. I would have liked more caramel in the finish, but it was not to be. Lovely little brew pub. Ernest (4499), Boulder, Colorado, USA
