Medium body, medium carbonated. Biggest detractor is the ’’band aid’’ undertone you find in too many small batch craft beers. Overall nice to drink, but nothing overly special. (Why is it microbrews with ultra busy cartoony labels are always meh??) joeymacaroni (241), Wagontown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Oct 20, 2008 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark red-chestnut color with a small medium sized tan head. The aroma was sour, tangy, malty and lightly vegetal and lightly fruity. Rather complex on the nose. The flavor was tangy, very very malty and had touches of molasses, caramel, ripe fruity and a long tangy sweet malty finish. The mouthfeel was thick and smooth. Excellent. fakepurseninja (794), Washington, USA
