| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 15, 2007 Semi-transparent coffee brown, thin but persistant tan head, just a bit of lace. Smells of caramel, molasses and dark fruit. Taste is big on toasted malt, with notes of caramel, coffee, molasses and pineapple. It’s balanced by a solid hoppy bitterness but little herbal taste. Slightly thick and oily, it coats the tongue nicely. Fruity, nutty aftertaste. Crafty07 (393), Florence, Kentucky, USA
