STUARTMILLER (10), flushing, New York, USA Mar 22, 2002 mildly sweet yet a quite enjoyable dobbelbock
brewski519 (85), Morrisville, North Carolina, USA Jan 8, 2009 Pours a reddish brown with no head and very little lacing. Malty nose with some scents of bread, caramel and a little bit of nut. The flavor was solid and did not deviate much from what I was able to pick up in the smell - I did get a little bit of toffee as well. Decent mouthfeel, carbonation and aftertaste. One of the more solid Tommyknockers I have tried out of the mix pack. DrDavid (674), Johnson, Vermont, USA Jan 6, 2009 Bottle. Aroma has a somewhat vinegarish tang. Cloudy chestnut body, off-white head. Flavor is sweet and fruity, with notes of tangy orange and alcohol. Beerman6686 (874), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 24, 2008 This poured a brownish color with an off white head. Aroma was very malty, hints of dark fruits and a bit nutty. Flavor was as tempting as the aroma, fairly smooth beer but not much stands out and does not hide the alcohol very well either. fonefan (6153), Ulfborg, Denmark Dec 22, 2008 Bottle 355ml.
Clear medium amber brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head.
