Tasting at CBF. Hazy off brown color, small white head. Aroma of sweet chocolate with notes of caramel but not much else. Flavor is of chocolate mostly, nicely balanced with mild bitterness. An easy to drink brew with nice malt depth.

Bottle. Really enjoyed this beer. Didn’t think it was really that sweet. Actually had a nice balanced taste. Recommend this one.

Got from Total Wine earlier this year...probably should have drank it sooner. Sweet aroma, decent appearance. Flavor is very sweet, could be a bit more bitter. Mouth feel is very fizzy.

Pours medium to dark brown with a thin off white head. Aroma is cocoa, some roast, vanilla and some sweet grain. Flavor is almost cocoa powder, honey sweetness, some grain and honey. Palate is thin dry and undercarbonated. Really not very good stuff.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Chocolate and cocoa powder dominate the aroma, with some roast and a light sweetness. The flavor has cocoa powder, roast, and a moderate amount of sweetness. Pretty good.

A dark brown pour with light off white head and lace. Aroma reeks of the cocoa. Flavor is the same all the way through. Palate is a tad thin and watery but a very drinkable porter
