Commercial Description:
Tommyknockers were mischievous elves who slipped into mining camps with the Cornish miners in the 1800s. Commemorating the 10th anniversary of Tommyknocker Brewery, this special brew is meticulously crafted with pure maple syrup, the highest quality chocolate and crystal malts and is accented with the finest blend of European and American hops. Imperial Nut Brown Ale is a bigger, bolder version of our wildly popular Maple Nut Brown.

From the bottle. poured a nice mahogany with a nice sized tan head. aroma, toast, dark cherries, plums, red grapes, roasted malts, some smoke as it warmes alcohol and nice sweetness comes out. flavor. the malts and hops come out nicely followed by cherries, maple syrup with a good hit of alcohol. easy drinking beer will get more of this

22 oz bottle. Velvety chestnut brown body with almost no head. Aroma is quite sweet with maple syrup. To be fair, this isn’t my favorite style, but I found the flavor too syrupy sweet, almost like cough syrup.

22 oz bottle: Aroma is malty, caramel, maple syrup, roasted walnut, faint cherry scent, and somewhat of a chocolate aroma. Appearance is a semi-translucent brownish black with a Khaki foamy head. Taste is a nutty, chocolate, light caramel, syrup, and nice malt note. Also nice sweetness to it but not too sweet. Palate is sugary, rather short, somewhat thin, yet lively carbonated. Overall, This is pretty good not anything special but a nice Nut Brown.

22oz bottle dated 11/05. Transparent chesnut pour raises feeble soapsud foam. Sporadic dalmatian spots of lace. Simple, sweet aromas of grape, cherry, almond, and milk chocolate. Bleak taste of tootsie roll dipped in Pepsi. Bland, flabby palate; uncarbonated, torpid and textureless. Muted Black Russian finish ushers in a timid chocolate and rasperry aftertaste. Tommyknocker should apologize to all partakers of this painfully boring and utterly unsaporific beer.

22oz bottle. Dark brown hue with a ruby hint. Ring with a spotty layer of light tan head. Sweet, syrupy malty nose. Cookie, fruity and cocoa aromas. Full and sweet. Not too carbonated. Sweet malts, but with a nice burn from the alcohol. Finish is 7-Up citrus with a grapey kind hop flavor. Great texture. Nutty and sweet syrupy maple flavor. The 9.8 kinda smacks you in the face. Smooth and full. But not over the top. Great balance and complexity. Flavorful. Hits all parts of the palate. This is a good beer!

22oz bomber-A black body with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt with a taste of sweetness and more sweetness with a dark chocolate maltiness on the back end.

(Bottle 65 cl) Clear, reddish brown with a creamy, beige head. Sweetish malty and fairly alcoholic aroma. Quite a full body with sweetish malty and nutty accents. Rich and wholesome. Has a dry but not overly bitter finish. 210906
