vikingguy (100), Chaska, Minnesota, USA Jun 29, 2009 Pours a hazy gold color with a quick diminishing small white head. Typical fruity aroma of a wheat ale...hints of strawberry, apple & peach. Taste is sweet malt, a little fruity, lightly hopped, some herbal flowery flavor, maybe a touch of honey. Semi-dry finish, light mouthfeel...maybe a little on the watery side. A good summer time drink. Highly drinkable, refreshing, lots of different flavors. DerBiermeister (480), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Jun 19, 2009 Smells yeasty. Party cloudy and yellow with a white head. Citrusy and bland taste with a thin palate. Summer beer, but not too exciting. RichJ7 (1134), Cullman, Alabama, USA Jun 6, 2009 Hazy orange gold with a tiny white head. Mild aroma of wheat and citrus. Malty flavor with a hint of grain. Meh. Unremarkable. Narnad (469), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA May 21, 2009 Pours a cloudy orange with a very big white foamy head and some fine chunks of yeast. Aroma is pretty plain of wheat with a very very very light lemon note. Flavor is light lemon, wheat is very thin in flavor for being a wheat beer and the barley really seems to come through. Density, carbonation and lacing are all of the typical wheat beer style. Overall another beer produced by Tommy Knocker that I find not offensive but just not really worth drinking. mcjay (277), Neenah, Wisconsin, USA May 5, 2009 Cloudy golden color with an amber tint and a medium off white head. Aromas of wheat and citrus. Body is moderately malty and the flavor has hints of wheat, yeast and lemon grass with a slightly tart finish. thejon375 (363), Tampa, Florida, USA May 3, 2009 Not that great. Pours a nice hazy amber color with thick white head, but it goes downhill from there. Aroma smells moldy and flavor has nothing really tasty about it. Says its brewed with lemongrass, but I tasted nothing citrus about it. Easy to drink but prob wont drink it again. esjaygee (1260), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Apr 26, 2009 Bottle from ZindeHey, thanks. Hazy golden yellow with next to no head. Aroma of malt, lemongrass and honey. Taste of honey, malt, wheat and mild lemon grass. It’s okay but nothing I’d seek out. checkmatei1 (483), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 6, 2009 Bottle: Poured a yellow color with a lot of white head. The aroma was wheat, grass, and malts. The flavor was malts, lemon, wheat, and honey. Overall, I’m seriously thinking all of the Tommyknocker beers are starting to taste the same.
