RSRIZZO (1345), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Dec 1, 2007 Had this beer on 11/13/1998. Color is a light gold with the slightest haze and a good bit of sediment floating around. Carbonation and head are good. Aroma has a nice hop scent and a touch of a grassy a scent in it. Taste is light and refreshing with a nice lemon flavor in it. It starts off with a light body that goes down crisp and fresh. The finish has a good hop flavor, a light bitterness and a faint lemon taste. I’m not sure if the flavor comes from hops or the lemon grass but it is very good dp (512), uniontown, Ohio, USA Nov 19, 2007 more mmalt than expected for a wheat, sweet after-taste, a small amount of lemon after-taste due to lemon grass, not a bad mix zeke626 (301), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Nov 8, 2007 Thanks to akevitt for sharing. Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with little head. Mostly a wheaty malt aroma. Light bodied with the typical wheat ale taste with some citrus/lemon near the finsh. Comes off slightly bitter and watery. adwoan99 (244), Ft. Worth, Texas, USA Nov 7, 2007 Pours a nice golden with very little head. Smells sweet and wheaty with a little yeast mixed in. Very smooth palate, and a clean finish. yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Nov 7, 2007 Bottle, thanks to Papsoe for sharing. Clear, almost golden pour, and a minimal white head. Looks hazy in the bottle. Lemongrass dominates the aroma and flavor, but it is also fruity, slighlty soapy and with pale malt. Medium, dry and slightly dusty mouthfeel. A quite special beer, but feels refreshing, and I bet it goes down easy on a hot day.
