Aug 30, 2007 Strong citrus smell from the lemongrass. Tates a little like a radler, the lemon is very pronounced. Finish has some yeasty/bready notes. Very refreshing beer for a hot day.

Aug 30, 2007 no head at all, which isn’t necessarily bad. great smell, if you can dig the fruity/sweet thing. it smells good, but kinda of like a nice lit candle in a bathroom you or someone just took a gnarly dump in. in the taste, i detected a hint of apricot(must be the lemon grass, i guess), which was both refreshing and tasty, complimenting itself as a great summer beer. however, i don’t know how many i would be able to drink in one sitting. not too sweet, not too bitter.

Aug 27, 2007 bottle - Pours hazy yellow with a thin, fizzy, rapidly fading head. The aroma is mild yeast and citrus. The flavor is sweet and lemon. It’s light and simple with a wet finish, just okay.

Aug 25, 2007 Bottle. The smell reminds me of a light pilsner with artificial lemon added in. The flavor is slightly bland. Not a perfectly crisp beer, but smooth and somewhat spring-like about the flavor. Leaves a light coating on the tongue. Has a tart and strange (almost lemony) finish. I would try it again

Aug 23, 2007 Poured from a 12oz bottle into a shaker. This beer poured a hazy golden color with a thin, off-white head that quickly faded away. No lace. The aroma consisted of grass, lemon, wheat, and some bready yeast notes. The flavor was made up of light lemony citrus, wheat malt, and some yeast. The mouthfeel was light-bodied and crisp with adequate carbonation. This was a well crafted wheat. Decent enough.

Aug 23, 2007 Slightly light golden color with a fairly thin head atop. Smell is light, nice wheatiness along with some tart lemony note. Taste is also a touch tart, with a sweet honey wheat like kick to it as well. I tend to like american wheats although they’re not generally a highly rated snobby beer, and I’d say this one was above average. I thought it was quite good, while slightly unique, for the style and would get it again.
