Mild nose of lemon citrus, tart wheat, and faint malt. Flavor is pretty subdued, with a touch of lemon, malt sweetness, and crisp finish. A bit watery, but all in all a refreshing brew-- drunk after biking around Dillon Lake, righteous. I’m surprised at the bashing this one takes. GeneralGao (3051), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

Head, fizzy, white, and disappeared immediately. No lace was left behind. Smelled of light honey and sugary candy, kind of like cherry Pez. More effervescent than I had expected and slightly sweet. Tasted like lemon Pez. Body was on the light side. Pretty boring. pintocb (509), Darsville, Georgia, USA

Salty and funky with a hint of artificial something. Yuck. NOT a good wheat. jgentgesdo (564), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA

Flavor of lemongrass, wheat, floral hops. Watery mouthfeel. Very middle of the road. HogTownHarry (3993), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 17, 2007 Bottle (12oz). Very bubbly, slightly hazy gold, small fizzy beige head. Fresh malty and weirdly spruce-y aroma, light fruit and yeast. The taste is mostly grapeseed and pine/spruce, fresh and sharp - watery body, incredibly well carbonated, lightly astringent, odd sharp aftertaste, vaguely reminiscent of Pinesol floor cleaner, but not horrid - I think this must be the lemon grass - if that’s lemon grass, this sucker’s loaded with it! Godd hot weather brew. obguthr (1012), Poquoson, Virginia, USA

Cloudy golden color witha non existent head, but marvelous carbonation. Tart, somewhat yeasty.and apple is detectable. Grass and raisin finish. Great mouthfeel, good taste. hogan873 (325), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 8, 2007 Good brew. Pours a slightly cloudy light amber. Malt and citrus in the aroma, also a touch of grass. Light on the palate with notes of citrus and grass. Taste is very smooth and refreshing. I can definitely sense the lemon grass there. A great warm summer day beer. alexsdad06 (1080), Ohio, USA

The aroma is a weak citrus with the slightest hint of malt. There is very little flavor. There is the slightest hint of grains along with light citrus notes. Tends toward the lemony side. Watery mouthfeel. This is a one time tasting.
