Oct 12, 2006 Looks OK. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head. Not much aroma, a bit musty, wheaty, and a hint of diesel fuel. Flavor is watery American Wheat, smooth and drinkable, but it has an artificial taste similar to that in the dopplebock they brew, only less intense. Lemongrass on the finish. Overall its not as bad as I was expecting but never rises above mediocre. The label is more of the stupidity that you would expect from a brewery that calls itself “Tommyknocker”. I’m glad I only bought a single instead of a six pack.

Oct 8, 2006 Clooudy yellow, thin but dense white head. Very faint aroma - banana, bubblegum, etc - the usual suspects. Some notes of sourdough and a touch of banana in the flavor. Crisp finish.

Sep 23, 2006 Found this one bottled in Belvidere, Illinois. Light orange, hazy pour with a thin white head (there’s a trend here). Very little nose to speak of, some lemon peel in there but not much else. A little banana and orange throughout, but not much taste, either. Dissapointing. I’ve not had a "Tommyknocker" beer I’ve truly enjoyed yet.

Sep 8, 2006 Good flavor, the lemongrass is unique and refreshing. The body was cloudy. this is a summer time beer with out a doubt.

Sep 7, 2006 Blah, this wasn’t so good. It didn’t become a hoppy mess of an American wheat, but was very lemon-grass flavored. Hard to taste or see past the lemongrass. Sloppy. Body wasn’t really thick, but it was cloying thick... or, rather, annoying thick feeling, sticky.

Aug 31, 2006 Color is hazy gold. Aroma is sweet and reminds me of . Flavor in kind of orangy and has hints of corriander which reminds me of a Belgian White The finish tastes like lemon grass, but isn’t overpowering. No bitterness at all. A bit thin on the palate. Over all this beer isn’t too bad and is really kind of refreshing.

Aug 14, 2006 Very refreshing. Like water. But with less flavor. Pours very pale with a thick white head. Smells slightly citrusy. Not a good beer to start my Tommyknocker experience with.
