hellomynameis (794), Mayer, Minnesota, USA May 24, 2006 This bottle is thanks to Sue at work. It certianly is a refreshing beer, a good wheat example. There is just a hint of the lemon grass citrus that shines though a farily standard wheat. No malts are pereptable, neither is any bitterness or hops flavours. waolsen (1220), Littleton, Colorado, USA May 8, 2006 tap. hazy golden pour. no head. light aroma of wheat and lemon. aroma is weak. wheat and zesty lemon on the pallet. average. jetzler (622), oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA Apr 20, 2006 The aroma has hints of citrus wih very light notes of hops and no malts. It is a light tan in color fairly cloudy. It is easily drinkable and quite thirst quinching, just as good as I remember it all those years ago in the hot arizona sun. Thanks Robertsreality. Wakie (612), Centreville, Virginia, USA Mar 6, 2006 Very weak and tasteless wheat beer. Standard appearance of a wheat beer but not really much taste. The lemon overpowered everything. Frightfully disappointing. jimmyh221 (157), Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA Feb 27, 2006 This beer had a small diminishing head. The color was a cloudy orange. The flavor tasted a little like an orange. It had a sweet taste. jmuhops (663), Winchester, Virginia, USA Feb 27, 2006 Pours gold with a two-finger head and aggressive effervescence. Surprisingly fruity aroma dominated by lemon. Wheat and a light nuttiness play roles, too, along with sweet, honey-like hops. As it warms, the wheat becomes the main aroma. Tastes bad, like lemon dish detergent. Very dry finish that turns to stale wheat a few seconds after the swallow. Very spritzy. iwantalambic (1385), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Feb 26, 2006 12 oz. bottle: light golden straw…minimal ivory head. Lemony aroma with fresh hop flowers and cherry, vanilla beans. Slightly gritty, under carbonated palate that has some off malt flavours…but does leave a decent hop taste on the back of the tongue. Strawberries and light, sweet lemons round a fairly decent brew…this would be refreshing on a warming summer day… jefcon (997), Arlington, Virginia, USA Feb 25, 2006 Cloudy orange with a spare, large bead, white head. Aromas of wheat, grass, and almond. Very little hop presence on the tongue, no yeast accents, either. Very dry on the finish. Too little fruit and not enough character in the malt to allow me to recommend this one.
