VitaminR (421), Colorado, USA Jun 25, 2008 Soft fruit and citrus nose. Hazy amber color, medium head. Mild sweetness, some lemony tartness, slight bitterness. Silky mouth feel, decent carbonation, citrusy finish. Really refreshing and different wheat beer. spagyetti (68), Puyallup, Washington, USA Jun 21, 2008 On tap at the Brewery. Definitely not a hefe from the motherland. Interesting with out of place notes. There is no real development of ripe bananas or even, (in a good way) bubble gum flavours. Light and new in all aspects, worth a try when in CO. dkachur (2315), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jun 14, 2008 Bottle from a sampler. Hazy light orange pour with a small head. Aroma of Fruit Loops. Taste is lemon, orange, mango, other fruits. Fairly sweet and very artificial. Though, I guess it’s a good thing when your fruit punch is 5+ %. joeymacaroni (181), West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 12, 2008 pours cloudy goldenrod with a fast-dissipating 2 finger foam. orange/ lemony aroma. not too much to this one...a little doughy, but mostly citrus flavors.the wheat is very apparent. a decided lack of spiciness. finish is quick and mostly a wheaty flavor. It’s refreshing, but not one of my favorites. ThaBobfather (178), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA May 25, 2008 Quality wheat beer. It’s pretty run of the mill. Good balance of wheat and lemons. But it is very average. SHIG (2012), Aviano, Italy May 19, 2008 Bottle: Poured a hazy orange amber with loads of carbonation, the head was thin and white. The aroma is citrus and wheat/yeasty. The taste was somewhat bland wheat with some citrus. agillespie81 (190), Denver, Colorado, USA May 17, 2008 Deep golden color......very hazy......almost completely opaque. Thin head......fresh, slightly citrus aroma. Sweet citrus notes dominate the front......slightly crisp mouthfeel. Somewhat of a malt back that finishes clean. CaptBier (301), Birmingham, Alabama, USA May 14, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden with thin white head. Aroma is of citrus and lemongrass, much like the taste. Some lingering wheat flavor, but all in all pretty thin.
