Commercial Description:
An American-style wheat ale brewed with 30% malted wheat and 2 row barley. Low hopping rates allow the refreshing aroma and citrus flavor of a late addition of lemon grass to dominate. This unfiltered beer retains all of its protein, flavor, and some of its yeast, resulting in a traditionally cloudy appearance. 2000 North American Brewers Asc. Gold Medal

Not bad for an american style wheat. The wheat flavor is appearant. Almost no hops. Malts taste is present with a slight citrus sensation to it. A thirst quencher

Pale bronze. Medium body. Tastes like someone dumped some sour lime juice in here. Not much wheat taste coming through at all. Eh.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color. No head to speak of. Flavor reminds of the sweetness of a lemon Jolly Rancher along with some grainy dryness. Flavor has sweet yeasty bread livened up a bit by the lemon grass. Dry, bready finish. Lots of sharp carbonation in the mouthfeel. Overall a pretty enjoyable beer. No real defects, and the wheat/lemon grass flavor combo was pretty interesting.

Had this one a few months back at the AA meeting at summits. Rotten bananna color to it. I got a dusty light aroma, kinda had a fruity pebbles hint to it. Didnt have anything to speak of in the light body except for being light.

A pretty nice brew, the lemon grass is a nice touch ... good foam 4 an american wheat ... a cross between a witbier and a fruity kolsch ... a saving grace from Tommy! ... "skippy and his lunch" ...this would be good at a bbq on a warm day, decent..

Pours a two finger white head that fades quickly leaving a little lace. Light cloudy amber color. Light carbonation and Light bodied. Sweet lemony nose. A little sweeter than a typical wheat, must be the lemon grass, slight lemon aftertaste. Good summer beer. $1.29 for a 12oz bottle from Blue Max Liquor Burnsville, Mn.

Bottle pours a hazy, particulate suspended dark yellow with wispy white head. Aroma is extremely biscuity (like a toasted corner of a cherry poptart) with light floral hop. Flavor is malty and wheaty, and sweet. with a slight grassy hop on the finish. Fairly decent.
